Member Communication Manager - Santa Rosa Golf & Beach ClubSums up your new Role: The Member Communication Manager will play an integral part on the Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club Team supporting project work and goals. Creating remarkable experiences for our Club Members before, during and after every visit. What we prioritize as Warm Welcome, Magic Moments, and Fond Farewells.
Communication- Communicate Santa Rosa through all channels (email marketing, social media, website, mobile) and take care of member's needs as it relates to reservations, inquiries, preferences, etc.
Programming -Collaborate with Events Manager to plan and communicate elevated and engaging Member programming
Member Engagement & Retention -Relationship and rapport building with members and guests. Responsible for key project work, i.e., execution of campaigns, reservations follow-up, invitations to signature events, At-Risk Member Re-engagement calls, etc.
New Member Onboarding-Key focus on name recognition and connection with Welcoming New Members to the Club
Public Relations - As needed, create press release content and coordinate/host media visits.
Day to Day: - Maintain the lobby, front entrance, workstation, and other surrounding areas clean and free of debris
- Basic Administrative Duties - answering phones, emails and assisting team with contracts and applications
- Event registration confirmations
- Assist Members in providing information for and scheduling appointments/reservations for club programs and services
- Website
- Posting events to calendar, making website updates/edits
- Setting up Member Accounts and assisting with login
- Event set up of décor or warm welcomes
- Photos of events
- New Member welcome calls
- Email Marketing- communicating with regular cadence to Members regarding Club updates, upcoming events, etc.
- Social Media
- Creating engaging content
- Responding to posts and comments
- Verifying event calendar accurate on Facebook page
- Storytelling the Chateau Experience for Members (and prospective Members)
- Update in Club marketing i.e., Posters, flyers, table tents, etc.
- Support in completion of New Member data entry and follow-up
- Running Member Birthday/Anniversary list for engagement
- Support in processing Resignations and follow up
- Work with department heads to identify, complete, and implement one unified annual Club calendar of Member events

Understand service recovery procedures for Member/Guests - Notify GM and/or department head(s) of Member/Guest complaints. Rectify by using service recovery procedures as soon as possible
We are ready to assume different responsibilities as needed and requested as an essential part of our jobs
About you: - Minimum of two years' experience in hospitality business or a similar role
- Service oriented mindset making every guest feel valued
- Strong communication skills verbal, written, phone, text, and social media communications
- Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive phone demeanor
Advanced working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel - Experience working with design tool such as Canva
- Positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team
