Our client is seeking a Contractual Development Coordinator will support the Development Team with generating donor gifts and data entry utilizing Raiser's Edge. This will be 6 months with the potential for extensions based on performance and will be on-site in downtown Manhattan.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have at least one booster.

Description
- Process gifts utilizing Raiser's Edge from various channels generate gift receipts/donor acknowledgments accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare timely customized tax acknowledgment letters and other correspondence
- Enter and update donor/prospect information, including Notes and Actions into the Raiser's Edge database
- Generate donor giving histories and gift summary reports
- Assist with Special Projects for the Development Operations Team
- Responsible for researching prospective institutional/individual prospects and donors on an ongoing basis with precision and efficiency
- Assist all other team members with special events/report as needed
- Ensure confidentiality of all donor information
Profile
- Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Prior experience in fundraising, gift processing, records management or development
- Proficient using Raiser's Edge or similar CRM is required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong accuracy, precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and a part of a team
- Strongly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Ability to work on-site in downtown Manhattan
- Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have at least one booster
